achel Maizes practiced with the Boulder firm of Hutchinson Black and Cook, LLC, one of the oldest firms in Colorado, in the areas of wills and trusts and real estate law.

She established her private practice concentrating in those areas in the year 2000. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Boulder County Bar Association. Following law school, Rachel clerked for the Honorable David M. Ebel of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

Rachel Maizes graduated first in her class from St. John’s University School of Law. During law school, she earned numerous awards for excellent academic performance. She also served as an Editor of the St. John’s University Law Review.
